For its third year, the Virgin Mobile Festival in Baltimore has snagged another lineup of mighty names: Bob Dylan, Foo Fighters, Chuck Berry and the Silver Beats, Kanye West, Stone Temple Pilots, and Iggy and The Stooges.

Also performing at the Aug. 9-10 fest at Pimlico Race Course will be Jack Johnson, Wilco, Nine Inch Nails, Lil Wayne, Cat Power, Paramore, KT Tunstall, Lupe Fiasco and many more, plus Moby and Underworld in the dance tent. Check out www.virginmobilefestival.com for the complete lineup.

A pre-sale for tickets begins at 10 a.m. today. The general sale is Saturday at 10 a.m.

Tickets are $175 for a two-day general admission pass and $450 for VIP. Single-day tickets are $97.50 for general admission and $250 for VIP.

Toad's Place has tickets for a spate of new shows going on sale tomorrow at 10 a.m., including alt-country-soul-singer Shelby Lynne on July 1 at 8 p.m. Tickets are $20 advance general admission, $30 advance gold circle and $25 day of show general admission.

Also coming to Toad's:

 

  • Rapper The Lox, along with D-Block members Jadakiss, Styles P and Sheek Louch, June 7 at 8 p.m. Tickets are $22.50 in advance, $25 day of show.

     

  • New York's gypsy punkers Gogol Bordello, featuring indie rockers Dusty Rhodes and The River Band, June 19 at 8 p.m. Tickets are $17.50 in advance, $20 day of show.

     

  • Badfish (a tribute to Sublime) with Scotty Don't, Aug. 1 at 7 p.m. Tickets are $17.50 in advance, $20 day of show.

    At The National, folk-rock indie babe Ani DiFranco swings by July 11 at 8 p.m. Tickets, on sale today at 10 a.m., are $25 in advance and $28 at the door.

    Also new to The National and on sale now are tickets for Tommy Emmanuel, June 13 at 8 p.m. Tickets are $25 in advance and $30 day of show.

    Delirious, the Christian rock band from Australia, will swing by at 8 p.m. June 28. Tickets are $17.50 in advance and $20 day of show.
