Strong of bone and sly of wit, he’s cool…like “the-other-side-of-the-pillow” cool. When not working on MashUp into the wee hours, he enjoys going to shows, vegging, handstand contests, and reading The New Yorker. His argyle sock collection is legendary and has over 50 pairs of sunglasses but, oddly, only wears one pair of them. He has a slight addiction to Mountain Dew but he is getting the help he needs to overcome this addiction. He refuses to cook and constantly eats out. If you’re lucky, you might spot him at Café Ole on Thursdays getting a fish taco.

Andrew is multimedia producer for inRich.com and freelances for the Richmond Times-Dispatch from time to time. A self-proclaimed “music junkie,” you can usually find him with giant headphones on and his iPod surgically attached to his hand. Don't ask him who his favorite artist is, though; it changes every 5 minutes. Andrew also writes a music blog where he complains about life and features new music that comes his way. And no, you can't read it unless you ask nicely. Andrew’s other interests include putting his foot in his mouth, British people, running with scissors and listening to the wisdom of Homer Simpson.

Brigitte Petrine works for the Midlothian Exchange where she hosts the Midlo 5, a weekly webcast featuring news from Midlothian. Brigitte loves playing Nintendo Wii tennis (and she’s actually pretty good!), hanging out with her hound dog Ben, and eating sushi on Sundays (but only on Sundays). She’s a Virginia Tech Hokie and graduated with a B.A. in Communications and a minor in tailgating. Brigitte drinks approximately 4 gallons of water per day, snorts when she laughs, thinks dogs are people, and loves raw noodles.

Cameron Walker works for RichmondChic.com, a new website devoted to women’s issues. Cameron lives for awkward moments, has a habit of blowing bubbles off her tongue and is in love with Denny Hamlin! She also enjoys singing in the shower, reading trash magazines and dancing like a rockstar though the Richmond streets!

Karen is known as the Rocker of the Kasbah. She coordinates the staff of MashUp (much like herding cats). She usually does that while listening to overly-loud music (think Pinback…The National…Shout Out Louds…Muse). She also tends to be very direct, but she smiles a lot.
When she’s not hard at work, Karen can usually be found doing the kind of stuff we feature on MashUp: going to hear live music, at an art exhibit, enjoying local theater and just generally taking advantage of all the interesting culture that comes through RVA. No tattoos, though.
