Recall the sassy, classy music of the 1930s and '40s in "The All Night Strut," beginning at 8 p.m. Friday at The Cultural Arts Center at Glen Allen, 2880 Mountain Road.

Director Shon M. Stacy and music director Jimmy Hicks will provide the staging and sounds as Amy David, Robert Fix, Chase Peak and Brittney Slater perform some swinging oldies and goodies such as "Chattanooga Choo-Choo," "In the Mood," "Fascinating Rhythm" and "Ain't Misbehavin," among other favorites of the period.

Tickets are $10 for adults and $8 for seniors and students. Reservations are suggested and may be obtained by calling (804) 501-5859 or (804) 501-5115.

"As You Like It" by William Shakespeare, presented by the Richmond Shakespeare Festival, through next Sunday at Agecroft Hall, 4305 Sulgrave Ave.
