Professional bull riders are back in town.

The Greg Potter Slate River Ranch Classic, a Professional Bull Riders Enterprise Tour event, will be tonight and tomorrow at the Richmond Coliseum.

The lineup will feature some of the world's best riders, including Robson Palermo, Austin Meier and J.B. Mauney. Eighty riders are scheduled to participate. Prize money will top $40,000.

Both nights will feature "Mutton Bustin'," a riding event for kids. Children ages 5 to 7 and weighing no more than 55 pounds will be allowed to ride sheep. The child who stays on the sheep the longest will win a prize.

The event begins at 8 each night. Tickets range from $16 to $62 and are available at the Coliseum as well as Ticketmaster outlets, or by calling (804) 262-8100. Tonight is "Family Night," with $5 tickets for children younger than 12.

Slate River Ranch, which has locations in Buckingham County and in Texas, is sponsoring the event in partnership with Greg Potter, an Australian PBR tour veteran. For details, visit www.gregapotter.com.
