Tracy Hughes-Wolf of Fredericksburg hasn't left the island. Yet.

On the premiere of CBS' "Survivor: Micronesia," Hughes-Wolf and the rest of the Fans team beat the Favorites team for immunity.

One Virginian's gain is another Virginian's loss: In a surprising turn of events, 33-year-old Jonny Fairplay, formerly known as Jon Dalton of Danville, was sent packing.

It looked as if Fairplay was back to his old tricks when he showed up wearing a cap that read: WILL LIE 4 FOOD.

Host Jeff Probst introduced Fairplay as "the most infamous of all Survivors," in part because Fairplay lied about his grandmother's death as a strategic move on "Survivor: Pearl Islands."

This time around, he talked about missing his girlfriend, Michelle Deighton, 22, and their then-unborn child.

Fairplay met Deighton, an alumna of "America's Next Top Model," on Fox Reality Channel's "Camp Reality."

Fox Reality Channel is also where Danny Bonaduce, after a brief fracas, dumped Fairplay over his shoulders at the Really Awards in October. That was just a week before "Survivor" called.

"On paper, it sounded great," Fairplay said. "I never said no to a challenge." But, he added, he's still eating "pill-size food" following surgery required after his fall.

So while he did miss Deighton, he also wasn't feeling up to "Survivor's" physical challenges. "Thank you, Danny Bonaduce," he said, "for ruining my chance for a million dollars."

In the meantime, Piper Addison Fairplay was born Jan. 16. Her parents will marry June 14 at The Water's Edge at Smith Mountain Lake, with Vanilla Ice as one of six best men.

"[Piper] is the quietest baby on the planet," said Fairplay. "She only cries when she's naked. I tell her, 'Remember that when you're 17.'"

The second episode of "Survivor: Micronesia" airs at 8 p.m. Thursday on CBS. According to tvguide.com, the premiere show topped its hour, ratings-wise, with 13.9 million viewers.

Fans and former co-workers of Hughes-Wolf watched the show at Melito's restaurant in Henrico County. "We're still supporting her," said Richard Melito, her former employer.

Engagement party fetes Henry Hager and Jenna Bush

With apologies to the Hager family -- and that mystery SUV parked on the corner -- it looked like a really lovely party.

Richmond's a small town when it comes to big news. Rumors were wafting all over last week that first daughter Jenna Bush and Henry Hager would be feted Saturday night at the Hager family home in Windsor Farms.

Bush's fiancé is the son of John and Maggie Hager. John Hager is chairman of the Republican Party in Virginia.

Terry White of White House Flowers -- whose name, as party florist, was dropped by a friend of a friend of a friend -- couldn't comment.

But presumably her company was responsible for the pink-ribboned baskets of red and white flowers that dotted the Hager lawn Saturday evening.

Dozens of cars were parked on and off the street via valet parking, and two gentlemen in an SUV with Maryland plates appeared to stand -- or rather, sit -- guard on the corner.

If the duo were on security detail, according to one invitee, they were not there for Bush's parents. A woman overheard discussing the upcoming soirée said President and Mrs. Bush wouldn't be there because of security issues.

"I am so looking forward to this weekend!" she told a friend at the River Road Starbucks.

"Maybe I'll wear dark clothes and skulk around in the bushes," the friend replied, laughing.

Skulking was unlikely, as the yard was well and beautifully lighted.

Besides, all the Democrats were downtown on Saturday.
