Gov. Timothy M. Kaine will visit storm victims this afternoon in Suffolk, where scores of homes have been declared uninhabitable following a fierce tornado yesterday.

Kaine's office said this morning that the governor will fly to Suffolk about 2:30 p.m. and will visit at a shelter there, where as many as 35 people are staying after being displaced.

About 145 homes have been declared off-limits in Suffolk.
